Join the student-led organization SPEAK (Scholars Prioritizing Effective Argumentation and Knowledge), supported by Heterodox Academy (HxA) at Carnegie Mellon University, for an engaging event on immigration.
The event will feature:
- A short presentation, Why We Disagree about Immigration, by John Iceland, Professor of Sociology at Penn State.
- Small group discussions on immigration-related topics and how immigration can best be leveraged.
This is a great opportunity for students from all majors to learn from experts and engage in respectful, meaningful dialogue.
This event is open to students, faculty, and staff at Carnegie Mellon University. Please RSVP in advance.
